When you think of a typical yoga class, Here in the west you’re likely visualizing what is known as Vinyasa Yoga. linking one breath to one movement. We offer suggestions to hold the pose in the moment. Slow it down. Sometimes this is referred to as Hatha. We slow down and hold the poses with floor work and props with a Restorative or Yin direction.
All classes have some level of pranayama , meditation, sections with exploration of chanting, mudras, sound baths, bhakti, quiet space and Savasana
Vinyasa & Hatha Yoga can be variable and accommodate practitioners of all skill levels.
This activity encourages the body and mind in a variety of ways . And can test the abilities of accomplished athletes. The constant transition of poses forces you to get comfortable while your body is working. The various poses will test your endurance, build strength, increase stability, and provide an effective cardio challenge. You’ll also strive for increased flexibility as you get more comfortable sinking deeper into the various poses Wich aids the mind to become calm.
